Join us at "Eden Night Live" on Friday, September 30, 2016

The Castro Valley Community Band is pleased to be on the program for Eden Night Live on Friday evening, September 30, 2016. We take the stage at around 6:30 p.m.

Although we've only had  few rehearsals this season, we've got a lively set of music prepared for you, including some marches, medleys of rock and pop songs, and a thrilling symphonic arrangement. (We've also got one surprise up our sleeves.)

Eden Night Live, billed as "A social space for healthy entertainment, community engagement, and business development," is held at 20100 Mission Boulevard (corner of Mattox Road) in Hayward. Admission is free. Food trucks will sell tasty meals, and plenty of fun activities (other than listening to the band) await you. We hope to see you there.

  1. Hi there! I currently play 1st Alto in the Lowcountry Wind Symphony, 1st Tenor in the Hilton Head Plantation Big Band and a few other ensembles in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, but am moving back to the Bay Area in the spring. I have and play B/T/A/S and would like to know if you'll be looking for additional players in 2017. Let me know!

    Thanks.

  2. Hi!
My daughter is almost 11 and plays oboe. She takes privately. Looking into a community band for her for next school year. Can she be part of this band or is there an age restriction? If she can join I might join too on bassoon.
